Getting your kids interested in pretty much anything can be a struggle sometimes.

So when one very clever mum got her kids involved and DIY'd this amazing Lego clock with her kids, the internet went bananas.

And at just $22 for supplies ($7 for this clock and $15 for the Lego base plate, both from Kmart), we're pretty impressed by it too.

Super simple.

With an "exceptionally sharp Stanley knife, plenty of pressure and patience," the base plate was cut, before the clock's hands were unscrewed the Lego plate fitted. With the hands repositioned and the Lego mini figures in place, Ferne Carmichael and her kids had a gift for their Dad that was out of this world!
